That isn't news to most, but still good personal insights in the article. I'm surprised, though at one of the stats in the article: 33% of all Big Pharma leads are in-licensed. Put another way, 2/3rds of all Big Pharma programs are still internally sourced. That doesn't seem right - internal discovery in Big Pharma seems to me to have shrunken to a minority activity - maybe 25% of all big Pharma R&D.
